Partnership ETHER
Ether is a joint venture between CNES (Centre National d’Etudes
Spatiales) and CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) - INSU (Institut National des Sciences de l’Univers) to
promote research in atmospheric chemistry.
Ether supported the transition from the MOZAIC databank to the
central MOZAIC-IAGOS database, and is now supporting the development of
added-value products on the database.
Ether supports the development of other databases and provides datasets for the research community:
- Databases:
- ECCAD (Emission data and ancillary data for emission calculations)
- GEISA (Spectroscopic data base)
- KINETIC (Chemical kinetic data base)
- RAMCES (Atmospheric network for measurements of greenhouse compounds)
- NDACC-France (Network for Detection of Atmospheric Composition Changes)
- MOZAIC-IAGOS
- ECCAD (Emission data and ancillary data for emission calculations)
- Datasets:
- ODIN-SMR
- IASI
- ODIN-SMR
Ether allows the use of some tools:
- MIMOSA (Isentropic maps of potential vorticity from ECMWF analyses & forecasts)
- REPROBUS (Chemistry Transport Model diagnoses for polar winters)
- GIRAFE (Biomass burning plumes)
